Mercury soars, kills 62 in AP

Even as temperature continued to soar in several parts of Andhra Pradesh.

The death toll in the state has been put at 41 on Saturday. The number of casualties in different districts as below

•     Karimnagar district -6
•     Anathapuram district -2
•     Nalgonda -6
•     Krishna -2
•     Medak -6
•     YSR district- 2
•     Prakasham -11
•     Warangal -2
•     Guntur - 6
•     1 each in Srikakualm, Viziangaram, Rangareddy, Khammam, Chittoor
