Medico Commits Suicide at KMC in Warangal

Hyderabad: A final year MBBS student at Kakatiya Medical College (KMC) in Warangal on Tuesday committed suicide.Mounika, daughter of Subhash Yadav of Old Bowenpally in Secunderabad had been a student of 2011 batch. She hanged herself to a ceiling fan in her hostel room which was shared by another student. She took the extreme step in the afternoon when all students were busy in classrooms or hospital. She was working as a junior doctor at MGM.

According to her classmates, Mounika was a cool and calm going girl who always took studies very seriously. "Maybe she was feeling stressed as the final exams are approaching," said some classmates. She cleared all the exams and did not have any backlogs. An investigation is on.
