Medical student commits suicide in Guntur
Guntur, A medical student committed suicide by jumping into Krishna river in Guntur district on Tuesday.
According to reports, Krishnaveni was a second year medical student in Katuri Medical College. On seeing someone jump into the river, fishermen present nearby jumped into the river to try and save Krishnaveni. She was rushed to nearby hospital, but died in the hospital.
As per reports, she died as the 108 vehicle taking her to the hospital was delayed.
Police reports suggest that she had written a suicide note before she committed suicide and kept it in her house. Police added that the deceased had threatened her family with suicide, and they are suspecting love affair as the reason for suicide.
