Massive Explosion at Chemical Factory Creates Panic in Medak 

Patancheruvu: A massive explosion at a chemical factory created panic among the residents of Medak on Tuesday evening.

The explosion took place at Sri Leo Enterprises in Pashamailaram Industrial Area of Patancheruvu mandal. Initial reports suggest leakage in containers used to store industrial chemicals as the cause of the mishap. The resultant fire was seen as far as Sangareddy, the district headquarters of Medak. The explosion created panic in Patancheruvu and neighbouring areas as people ran out of factories and residential areas. 

Fire tenders have reached the site of the explosion and are fighting the blaze. Further details are awaited.
