Maoists go on rampage in Adilabad, set ablaze four vehicles

Bejjur(Adilabad): A group of four Maoists attacked a construction site camp on Telangana-Maharashtra border on Wednesday and set ablaze four vehicles, including a tipper, a loader and a PO 200 vehicle. They also sezied 21 cellphones from the construction workers.

The incident occurred near Langudem village in Bejjur mandal. The Naxals came to the work site of Vallabhaneni Constructions at about 2.15 AM on Wednesday and sprinkled the kerosene that they brought with them on the vehicles before setting them ablaze.

The Maoists stayed in the place for three hours to ensure that the vehicles were completely damaged. They also left four letters asking the people observe bandh on May 4 and 5.
