Many issues need to addressed on loan waiver: Kodela

Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kodela Sivaprasad Rao on Friday admitted that there were still some issues with the crop loan waiver.

Speaking to the media at a programme in Nellore, the Speaker pointed out that there are some issues in the banks and with the farmers on the loan waiver issue and they have to be cleared by the government.
He further said that the ensuing Assembly sessions will commence from December 18 and loan waiver and AP capital issues will come up for the debate in the house.
It may be recalled here that TDP government’s much-publicised web link giving details of crop loan waiver created more problems than it addressed. The details hosted on the website were ill-prepared, incomplete and confusing, according to many.
