Man with lethal weapons held in Babu's yatra

A middle-aged man was arrested by Machilipattanam police at Kuchupudi when he was moving suspiciously during Chandrababu Naidu's padayatra on Saturday morning.

He was found with knives in his pocket near the specially designed bus for TDP chief 'Vastunna Mekosam' Padayatra. 

According to reports, the man was yet to be identified, but he belonged to Nalgonda district, police said.

The police detained him and brought to Kuchupudi police station for questioning.
