Hyderabad: Dilip Sarkar who was responsible for the pregnancy of a class 9 girl studying at a government high school in Madhapur in the city has been arrested on Monday.The man lured the girl who lives in a tribal colony near Hi-tech City by paying money and had sex several times over a long period. As the girl could not realize her pregnancy, she was going to school till the day she delivered a baby in the school toilet on November 29. She told the police that she had sex with one Dilip.

A married man with two daughters of the age of his victim, Dileep (39) hails from West Bengal and has been living in the city for ten years running Tumpa Bengali food store near Fortune Towers. He lives in flat number 1078 in Soni Enclave in Kondapur Masjid Banda area. He would supply food to the employees working in and around Hitech City by taking orders over the phone and online.

The innocent girl had fallen prey to the molester due to her family's poverty. Her mother died some time back and she was living with her father and an elder sister with whom the accused used to have sexual relation. He lured the victim by offering more money and had sex regularly at their house. He told the police that the girl's family knew about this. However, the family denied the claim. He fled to his native place after the girl delivering a baby in her school toilet and came back to city recently. Already hunting for the accused, the police arrested him on Monday night. Cases under sections 376, Nirbhaya, SC, ST Atrocities Act were registered against him.

The girl and her baby are kept at the government rescue home.
