Man Strangulates Wife to Death Over Extramarital Affair As Kids Watch 

Delhi: In a ghastly incident, a 32-year-old man, suspecting his wife's fidelity killed her in front of his three kids. The man, identified as Hari Lal, surrendered to the police after killing his wife Dolly. The incident took place in northeast Delhi's Karawal Nagar on Friday night.

According to the police, Hari Lal picked up a fight with his wife on Friday night questioning her on an extra-marital affair which she denied. However, in a fit of rage, he strangulated her while his kids watched on. Later, he also attempted suicide by slitting his wrist and then went to the police to surrender. DCP (northeast) AK Singla said the accused was rushed to GTB hospital and is undergoing treatment in police custody.

Incidentally, the couple who had moved the court for a divorce were given four months time to reconsider their decision. However, within the time frame, the couple got into an argument which led to Dolly’s tragic death. Hari Lal is survived by three kids aged nine, six and three.
