Father Rapes, Kills 7-Year-Old Daughter

A man was arrested on charges of raping and murdering his seven-year-old daughter. The incident occurred under Etimadpura Police Station limits in Agra of Uttar Pradesh.

According to the police, the body of the girl was found on the premises of Adarsh Vidyalaya in Agra on November 25. Post-mortem revealed that the girl was raped before she was killed. The girl, her brother and father lived in a hut near the school. Her mother passed away six years ago. The man, a habitual drunkard and a drug addict, raped his daughter and strangulated her to death on the night of November 25. Realising that she was dead, he shifted the body into the school. Then the man raised an alarm and tried to cook up a story that she was murdered by an unidentified miscreant.

On suspicion, the police took him into custody and questioned him. He admitted to his crime. It also turned out that he had also tried to molest his son in the past and the locals had warned him that they would hand him over to the police if he ever attempted to harm his children. The arrested man's nine-year-old son admitted that he had heard his sisters screams on the night of November 25.
