Man poses to be hospital staffer, asks woman-patient to strip

Vijayawada: In a bizarre incident, a female patient was asked to strip on the pretext of medical examination by a 22-year-old who posed himself as a hospital staff.

This incident happened in Mylavaram near Vijayawada when the victim’s relative grew suspicious and informed a nurse in the hospital after they found a male examining the patient.

According to Vijayawada Superintendent of Police Durga Prasad, the accused Rama Krishna had entered the victim’s ward when her aunt and mother were present and told her that the doctor had instructed him to examine her.

 “The nurse found the accused trying to photograph the patient who was almost naked,” Prasad added.
