Man Murdered In Daylight By Unidentified Assailants

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a man was stabbed to death in daylight by unidentified assailants at Banjara Hills Road No.7 on Saturday. The horrific murder caused severe panic and fear among the residents in the locality.

The motive behind the murder is yet to be known. According to the police, the victim was identified as Ratna Chary, a carpenter and a resident of NBT Nagar in Banjara Hills. The police are suspecting the case to be a revenge killing.

The police also added that the victim had involved in several cases — chain-snatching, attention diversion, and bike lifting.

The assailants called Chary to Mee Seva centre near Road no.7 to speak with him over a matter. The conversation turned into heated argument. One of the assailants took out a sharp weapon and started stabbing on Chary's face. Within minutes, Chary collapsed and succumbed to his injuries. The police secured the CCTV footage in the locality to identify the culprits. A case of murder was registered and investigation is on.
