Man held for sending vulgar pictures on Whatsapp in Hyd

The police have arrested a 40-year-old man for sending abusive messages on ‘Whatsapp’.

Police arrested Pawan Kumar, a resident of Chandanagar, for allegedly harassing a housewife by sending lewd pictures. 

According to the police, Pawan, who runs a consultancy,  has been sending vulgar messages for the last one week, and has repeatedly asked her to meet him.  

Unable to bear the harassment, the married woman approached the police. A trap was laid and the victim was asked by the police to invite the accused to meet her. 

Pawan hurriedly agreed to meet her at a coffee shop in Somajiguda. As soon as he came he was nabbed by the police.  

A case was registered against him under The Criminal Amendment Act and Sections 420, 419, 354 Sections of the IPC. Police are yet to find out how the accused got her number.
