Man Forces Wife To Undergo Fidelity Test

Hyderabad: A man was booked by Ghatkesar police on Sunday for forcing his wife to undergo a fidelity test suspecting and harassing her.

According to the police, the accused Ravi, a native of Wardhannapet in Warangal got married to Priyanka(25) in 2005. The couple has two kids. After getting a job in Central government, Ravi moved to Annojiguda along with the family. Meanwhile, Ravi started harassing her wife physically suspecting that she was in a extra-marital relation.

He would pick up a quarrel and beat her severely. Unable bear the harassment, Priyanka left to her parents' home along with her kids on August 24.

However, Ravi lodged a complaint with the police that his wife and children were missing. The police on investigation found them at Janagaon and brought them back to Ghatkesar. When the police tried to send the woman with her husband, she burst into tears and told the police about her husband's harassment. Priyanka lodged a complaint against her husband saying he forced her to undergo tests to confirm she was not having extra-marital sex. He would injure her private parts so that she can't participate in sex, the victim complained.

The police registered a case and no arrest is made yet.
