Man charred to death as car catches fire in Rajahmundry

In an unfortunate incident, one person was charred to death when the car he was driving caught fire at Danavaipeta in Rajahmundry on Wednesday.

Around 12 pm, Soma Raju, was on his way to new Internet cafe when the car went up flames. "The car's front tire was struck in the drainage canal when he tried to escape hitting a child. Suddenly there was fire," said an eye-witness.
The people at the spot tried to break the car’s windows but they were unable to rescue him as the blaze spread so quickly.
He was rushed to a near by hospital but the doctors declared him brought dead.
The car might have caught fire due to leakage of gas from LPG kit.
