Man Bludgeoned To Death, Brutal Video Shocks Netizens

Rajsamand: In a shocking video, a Muslim man was burnt to death in a suspected case of love jihad. The incident occurred in a remote village of Rajsamand district, Rajasthan.

The accused identified as Shambhu Lal was arrested by the police. According to reports, Shambu called the victim, Afrazal, to a the location of crime on the pretext of talking with him. He then got into an argument with Afrazal and attacked him with a blunt object. Death was instant for Afrazal.

The police are interrogating the accused to know the reason behind committing the gruesome act. Within minutes, the video set the social media on fire, drawing severe reaction from the netizens. The Rajasthan government directed the police to form a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the incident and ascertain whether the killing has any communal angle linked to it.

According to the police, the victim was identified as Mohammed Afrazul, who had migrated from West Bengal a few years ago. Since then he had been working as a daily-wage labourer. Meanwhile, a large group of police personnel have been deployed to maintain law and order in the district.
