Major Reversal For Maoists, CRPF Personnel Fell 12 Naxals

In a major setback for the Maoists, as many as 12 Naxalites were killed during a combing operation in Akabida forest area in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday morning.

The security forces began combing on getting credible inputs that over 50 Maoists were camping in the forest area. CRPF personnel cordoned off the area, following which the Maoists fired upon them and the police returned the fire.
