Mahesh Babu Loves KTR’s Handloom Shirt

As Super star Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu is receiving massive success at the box office, the top actor is not over his cool new shirt. Yesterday, Telangana's IT Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao met with Mahesh and director Koratala Siva after watching the movie. While the young politician admitted to thoroughly enjoying the film, the Super star is in love with the idea of wearing handloom clothes.

At the event, Mahesh wore a beautiful blue handloom shirt, upon KTR's appeal to support the noble cause. In a latest tweet on his Twitter timeline, the Bharat Ane Nenu actor said the comfortable and stylish fabrish goes completely with his charming personality. "Been receiving lot of compliments for the shirt I wore at our special program.Thanks @KTRTRS for introducing me to handlooms. The fabric is cool, comfortable and stylish..Totally goes with my personality :) :)," his tweet read.

However, Mahesh is not the first celebrity to sport the handloom products. Earlier in January, actor Akkineni Nagarjuna and his wife Amala came in support of weavers and handloom workers by wearing handloom clothes. The couple liked the clothing with its more comfortable and beautiful fabric.

The tech-savvy, pro-active Minister responded to Mahesh’s taste for the handloom shirt. “Handlooms promotion has been a cause close to my heart. Many Thanks to you and @sivakoratala for extending support Hope you’ll continue to showcase these stylish, cool and comfortable handloom clothes in your future movies too,” his tweet read.

Last year, KTR raised a campaign appealing people to wear handlooms to support the weavers' community. In a notable response to the noble initiative various politicians, officials and other noted people wore handloom cloths to work and on special ocassions.

In another good news for Mahesh, who is currently enjoying Bharat Ane Nenu's success, popular wax museum Madame Tussauds is preparing a wax version of the actor himself. Mahesh thanked the prestigious museum for their attention to detail and his inclusion into the project. He tweeted, "Super happy to be a part of the prestigious Madame Tussauds :) :) Thanks to the team of artists for their attention to detail. Incredible!" Excited fans can’t wait for the unveiling of Mahesh Babu wax statue.

Bharat Ane Nenu marked the Telugu debut of Bollywood actress Kiara Advani, who has already bagged several other Tollywood movies. The film, produced by DVV Danayya, has a major asset in the form of Devi Sri Prasad's music.
