Mahanati Unit Pays Tribute To Savitri On Last Day Of Shoot

Actress Keerthy Suresh is basking in the success of Suriya's Gang and she was last seen in the Telugu film opposite Pawan Kalyan in Agnyaathavaasi. She will be soon seen in the much awaited Savitri biopic titled Mahanati. The first look poster of the film was released last year on the occasion of Keerthy Suresh's birthday which piqued interest of the audience.

Mahanati has a solid star cast which includes Jr.NTR, Naga Chaitanya, Samantha, Anushka and Dulquer Salman in the lead roles. Those who are new to this story, Jr.NTR and Naga Chaitanya are all set to reprise the roles of their grandfathers NTR and ANR in Mahanati.

Earlier, the film was supposed to release by end of this month (March). But it got postponed due to the addition of new stars in the film. And their shooting has been dates had to be accomdated and changes made to the release date. Finally, the makers of the movie have decided to release Mahanati in the month of May. However, they are yet to make an official announcement about the release date. If Mahanati hits theatres in May then it will have a clash with Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya and Akkineni Nagarjuna's Officer.

If reports doing the rounds are anything to go by, then the Keerthy Suresh starrer Mahanati was wrapped up and the entire film unit paid tributes to the legendary actress Savitri on the last day of its shoot.
