Mahanati Movie Release Date

Mahanati, an ambitious project has been the news for a long time. It is a biopic on erstwhile Telugu actress Savitri. Keerthy Suresh will be playing the role of Mahanati Savitri which also stars Dulquer Salmaan, Prakash Raj, Vijay Devarakonda in other important roles. Rumors have surfaced that Anushka might appear in a pivotal role in Mahanati. An official confirmation about the same is awaited.

The makers of the movie have planned to release it on March 29 but the shooting of the film is still in progress. In the latest development, Mahanati is planning to release the in the month of May. They have pushed from March to May due to unknown reasons. The reason behind this is said to be an attempt to avoid a clash with big films such as Ram Charan's Rangasthalam, Mahesh's Bharat Ane Nenu and Allu Arjun's Naa Peru Surya.
