Love Tragedy In Khammam 

Khammam: One person died and three others sustained critical injuries when two lovers tried to escape from the girl's parents, near Gopalapuram in the district on Saturday.

Two lovers, Suma and Tarun, went to Bhadrachalam and got married in the early hours of Saturday after their parents rejected their marriage plans. While returning from Bhadrachalam, they were chased by Suma's relatives. In order to escape from them, the couple and two others in the car drove faster. However, as their car neared Gopalapuram it hit a culvert and overturned. The driver of the car died on the spot. The couple and one of their friends were rushed to Khammam area hospital.

The condition of Tarun is said to be critical. Further details are awaited.
