'Lokesh has become extra-constitutional authority'

YSRCP MLA Srikanth Reddy said that AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's son Nara Lokesh has emerged as an  extra-constitutional authority in the state. Lokesh was recently made the incharge of TDP affairs.

Speaking to reporters at the party office in Hyderabad, Srikanth Reddy accused Chandrababu of making public sector undertakings inactive.

“Chandrababu is trying to handover some government companies to private persons claiming that these were loss-making units.  A conspiracy is on to privatise the RTC and AP Genco in the state,” said Srikanth Reddy.

He said that 54 public sector undertakings were closed down during the nine-year-rule of Chandrababu.

Srikanth Reddy said that some government companies were given to TDP leaders during Chandrababu's previous rule. “The same trend is going on now,” said the MLA.

He said that Chandrababu has handed over Paleru Sugars to Madhucon company at a cheap rate.
