Lokesh At It Again: Claims ‘200’ Seats For TDP In ‘175-Seat’ Assembly

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh's IT minister Nara Lokesh is apparently suffering from chronic 'foot-in-the-mouth' ailment with his public speeches filled with tongue-slips.

In the latest incident, the minister urged the party cadre to ensure that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) wins all 200 assembly seats. The statement from the "leader" only confused and confounded the partymen. The reason being the state has only 175 assembly constituencies. He made the "appeal" during his tour of Anantapur district on Thursday.

It may be recalled that on the occasion of the birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar, the "honourable" minister said, "I convey my wishes to all on the occasion of Ambedkar's death anniversary." During a tour of East Godavari Lokesh said, "creation of water problem in the district is his aim", blissfully replacing "elimination" with "creation".
