Lokayuktha urged to probe into Sailajanath’s deals

A petition has been filed against the Minister for Primary Education Sailajanath in Lokayuktha seeking a probe into his alleged role in the money laundering and hawala.

Arun Kumar, a High Court lawyer in his petition said it was dangerous proportion that a minister giving guarantees to Dr Hariprasad, owner of a hospital in Tirupati in the money laundering issue. It was an evident for proving that ministers were resorting to corruption and unlawful acts. Arun Kumar requested the Lokayuktha to conduct a thorough probe into the deals of banks and also the minister.
