Live: KCR’s speech at 14th foundation day of TRS

The TRS organized a massive rally on the 14^th foundation day on Monday. The huge turnout at the rally has shown the charisma of KCR. Here are the highlights of TRS founder president and chief minister of Telangana KCR’s speech.  

• We will irrigate every inch of the North Telangana.
• Some people claim that they have converted Hyderabad into a high-tech city. But, the city is dogged by problems. We have water and drainage issues. A small rain can bring the traffic to a grinding halt. We want to convert Hyderabad into an international city.
• I shall not rest till all my objectives are reached. I shall strive my every nerve to work for the welfare of the people of Telangana. I shall fulfil every promise.
• You have shown the strength of the Telangana people by making this rally a huge success. langana. He has a few lapdogs who bark at his instance. We are not worried about them. Our worth would be known only when such people criticize us.

• We will launch irrigation projects in Palamoor Lift Irrigation Scheme in Mahabubnagar and Nakkalagandi in Nalgonda soon. Palamoor LIS will regreen Mahabubnagar. We will widen the canals in Kalwakurthi LIS. The TDP is creating hurdles for the Pranahita Chevella project. They are trying to make it an inter-state dispute.
  

• We will being the construction of two-bed room flats for the homeless people. We will ensure that everyone will get a house of their own.
• We have some legal and technical issues that need to be addressed. Once those hindrances are cleared, there would be massive job recruitment. I request the unemployed youths not to fall prey to the misinformation campaign unleashed by the opposition.
• KG to PG education is my dream. We will implement the scheme at all costs.
• The chief minister of our neighbouring state is a ‘Kirikiri Naidu’ (A litigant). He has been creating lot of problems for us. There is no people’s welfare in Andhra Pradesh. He does not take care of his own state, but is worried about Telangana. He has a few lapdogs who bark at his instance. We are not worried about them. Our worth would be known only when such people criticize us.

• I pay heartfelt condolences to the people of Nepal who suffered heavy losses due to the killer earthquake. We are ready to extend any help to the people of Telangana.

• Telangana is a result of great sacrifices. When we began our journey, our opponents laughed and derided. But, the students, teachers, employees and all the people of Telangana stood by me and we have now realized our dream of Telangana. I dedicate this victory to the people of Telangana.
• Till now we were on an agitational mode. Our aim was to achieve Telangana. Now, our aim is to achieve a golden Telangana. Unless we achieve golden Telangana, our struggle would go waste.
• We are implementing every promise that we made during the elections. We are committed to work for the people of the Telangana region. We are providing uninterrupted power supply to the farm section. From March next year, there would be uninterrupted power supply during the day time to the farmsector from 6 Am to 4.30 PM.
• All our MLAs, MPs and ministers will strain their every nerve to ensure that the feet of the people of the state are washed by the drinking and potable water. We will ensure that drinking water is provided to all the people of the state.
• Mission Kakatiya is changing the face of Telangana. The cleaning of the water tanks is nothing but cleansing the state of the relics of the colonial rule. Our Minister Harish Rao is working hard to make Mission Kakatiya a grand success.
• We have hiked the pensions for handicapped and the oldaged people. We are the number one state in the country in implementing welfare schemes for the poor and the destitute. We are spending a whopping Rs 28000 crore.
