Legendary writer Jana Hanumacha Shastri dead

Legendary writer and well known poet Jana Hanumacha Shastri breathed his last on Friday in Kadapa. He was 90.

According to reports, the poet was admitted to RIMS hospital, after his condition worsened. He passed away at 6.30 am.  Shashtri was the founder of the famous CP Brown library trust. His dead body will be placed in CP Brown  library for his admirers to pay their last respects. Cremation will be done in Kadapa, Friday evening. 

J Hanumacha Shatri was born on September 2, 1926 at Rayadurgam in Anantapur.He started his career of letters as a teacher.

Along with writing books, he was a regular contributor to the newspapers and had written about 2,500 articles for many dailies. He has 16 books to his credit.  'Maa Seemakavulu' ,'Natyakalaprapurna Balari Raghava Jivitha charitra', were some of his  famous works.
