Late, but latest: State-of-art CCTVs in city

The state government is planing to buy cameras worth an estimated cost of Rs. 450 crores to install them in Hyderabad and Cyberabad jurisdiction.

Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy announced this after a meeting with Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy. Talking to reporters, she said that the government would install 3,500 CCTV cameras in crowded areas across the city.

She also said that the installation of cameras would be completed within three months.
Stating that she was confident that the perpetrators of the blasts would be traced soon, the minister revealed that the investigative authorities did have some clues.

The government has appointed a 15-member special investigation team to work on the case.
