Landlord Arrested For SpyCam Recording Of Women Tenants 

Hyderabad: A 40-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday for voyeurism by fixing spy cameras in the rooms of his tenants. Chatrinaka police said that the accused J. Vijay Anand was video shooting the women tenants' private acts by fixing spycams in their bedrooms and bathrooms for the last two months.

The accused, an electrician who stays at Nalla Pochama in Chatrinaka, rented out portion of his house to four families and he fixed spycams in one of them. He put the cams on record mode which he would download later and watch. A case under IPC Section 354-C (voyeurism) has been registered.

The incident came to light when one of the victims noticed a hidden camera in her bedroom and approached the police.

During investigation police found three more hidden cameras in other rooms that can record every movement of the victim. A monitor, CPU with hard disk, three spy cameras, DVR and a pen drive have been recovered from the house.

“He appears to be obsessed with voyeurism. We are probing if he has shared the visuals with anybody else,” said Falaknuma ACP Tajuddin Ahmed.
