Lagadapati Rajagopal creates a ruckus in Vijayawada

Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal who is trying to meet TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu to submit a memorandum on the Samaikyandhra movement, once again created a scene in Vijayawada on Sunday.

Lagadapati started Samaikyandhra rally from the BRTS Road with scores of students  to show what he called 'kanivippu' programme to Naidu.

He was stopped by police at the Budameru Bridge. The situation turned tense when the police obstructed his rally. This halted the traffic in the otherwise busy area.

The MP, however, said that he would meet Naidu anyway to explain the consequences of bifurcating the state.

It may be mentioned here that the Vijayawada MP is upset with Naidu for pledging support to Telangana at the all-party meeting held on December 28 last year in New Delhi.

There was a high drama when Naidu entered Krisha District recently. Lagadapati, who planned to obstruct Naidu's padayatra at Anumanchi Palli in Krishna district was forced to lock himself in a house fearing police arrest.
