Kurnool TDP has leaders one too many

Kurnool TDP is suffering from leaders one too many. There are multiple power centres and the cadre is at sea as to whom to follow.

There are four key leaders for the party in the district.

During the just-concluded general elections, the party worked under the direction of N Md Farooq. Later, former MLA Silpa Mohan Reddy left the Congress and joined TDP. The party was divided between Farooq and Silpa Mohan factions for some time then.

Nandyal MP S.P.Y.Reddy has recently left YSRCP and joined the TDP. With the entry of Reddy, the party is now divided into three groups in the district.

Further, ex chairman of Srisailam Trust Board, Pesala Srinivasulu, has been continuing in the party as the follower of former minister T.G.Venkatesh.

Now, Farooq group is serious over the entry of S.P.Y.Reddy and for the support Pesala has been getting from the party high command.

The activists are in big dilemma under whose leadership they have to work.
