Kuppam gets a zilch in AP budget

Kuppam is Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s home turf.

He has been representing it for close to three decades. But, this budget nothing to offer for CM’s burrough.

During the elections, Chandrababu gave as many as 30 assurances to the votersof Kuppam. Chief among them was to provide drinking water to the parched villages in the constituencies. He had also promised to solve the complete the construction of the Handri-Neeva canal to provide drinking water.

It has been nine months since he had assumed power, but not one promise has been fulfilled and so significant steps have been initiated to solve the problems. Even in the latest budget, no significant allocations have been made for Kuppam area. The hope that Kuppam would be benefited this fiscal has also dissipated for the locals.

The locals of Kuppam are now sore that despite having the chief minister himself representing him, They are sore that Chandrababu, who had duped the people of the state through his false promises, has not left even his own constituency.
