Hyderabad: Telangana IT minister KT Rama Rao took at a dig at the explanation on cash crunch put out by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. KTR countered Arun Jaitley by tweeting that the cash shortage was not all of a sudden and not a temporary one. He said that over the last three months he has been receiving complaints of dry ATMs in Hyderabad. He also suggested that RBI and finance ministry take measures to restore confidence among the people on the banking system.

Earlier today, reacting to the people's anger over cash crunch in ATMs, Arun Jaitley tweeted saying that all the banks have enough money and there was enough currency in circulation. Due to certain unexpected transactions in few places, there would have been shortage of money which would be duly addressed, he said.
