Prof Kodandaram, Chairman of Telangana JAC, has expressed concerns over lapses in mechanism and lack of effective monitoring in EAMCET-2 exam.

Hyderabad: Prof Kodandaram, Chairman of Telangana JAC, has expressed concerns over lapses in mechanism and lack of effective monitoring in EAMCET-2 exam. He said lack of monitoring was the major reason for the leakage. Such incidents will dampen the spirit of students, he said. The leadership at universities that conduct major exams is not good, opined Kodandaram. “Thousands of students spent their precious time and prepared for years. If EAMCET-2 is cancelled, then it would be a great confusion for them. It’s unfortunate that the exam paper was leaked,” said Kodandaram.

On the other hand, CPM has also demanded severe action against those who were responsible for leakage of EAMCET-2 paper. The government should take moral responsibility for leakage of question paper, demanded Tammineni Veerabhadram, CPM state secretary. He suspected the role of senior officials and big shots in the government in the question paper leakage.

PIL in High Court for scrapping TS EAMCET-2

Meanwhile, a public interest petition (PIL) has been filed in the High Court requesting it to order for investigation into the leakage case in EAMCET-2. The petitioner has requested the High Court to cancel the EAMCE-2 and direct the Telangana government to reconduct the exam.
