In a major embarrassment to the Congress Party, its senior leader and former Rajya Sabha MP K.Kesava Rao on Monday ridiculed the all-party meeting on Telangana by calling it 'bogus'.
Coming down on the Telangana Congress MLAs, KK said "12 MLAs who have withdrawn their resignations after resigning for Telangana cause, should not go the Assembly and the next moment Telangana state will become true."
Speaking at the release of New Year diary of the 'Telangana Employees Association', he said "Telangana movement is a people's movement and not political movement."
Later, TJAC chairman Kodandaram who addressed at the meeting, demanded that the Centre should announce Telangana state on January 26.
