Former Chief Minister N.Kiran Kumar Reddy is looking towards the BJP to resuscitate his sagging political career.
With the Congress down in the dumps, he is said to be looking at the possibility of joining BJP.
His ‘Jai Samaikhyandhra Party’ had suffered a humiliating defeat in the elections and most of its leaders have already left the party leaving him all alone in the party.
Kiran, who went into a hibernation post the defeat, surfaced only a couple of days ago.
Infact, Kiran is said to be disinclined to join BJP, which supported the bifurcation of the state. But, the grapevines is that his followers have managed to convince him to decide in favour of joining the BJP.
Two business houses, which are close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have reportedly initiated their efforts to persuade the former chief minister to join the BJP.
As per the sources, a businessperson from Gujarat and a senior BJP leader from Bangalore are trying to convince Kiran Kumar Reddy to join BJP.
