Hyderabad: After courting several controversies and being in the news for all kinds of reasons, celebrated director Ram Gopal Varma has joined hands with King Nagarjuna for an upcoming cop drama. Akkineni fans are over the moon on the duo’s collaboration after the blockbuster movie Shiva, took the industry by storm 28 years ago. Shiva earned a cult following and has been seen as a milestone movie.

The film tentatively titled NagRGV4 is a cop drama with high octane scenes. The film, sources say, went on floors on November 20 at Annapurna Studios, where incidentally, the duo's maiden film Shiva was shot. Rumors were rife that RGV would cast Tabu in the movie. However, RGV cleared the air by taking to his social media account saying that a fresh face Myra Sareen has been roped in. Well, it’s a dream for any actor to star in an RGV film and we are sure debutante Myra is super excited about her prospects.

The film is slated for release on April 20 next year and is bankrolled by RGV and Sudheer Chandra under R-Company banner.
