Kid dies as tree falls on her

In a shocking incident, an LKG student died after a tree that was being cut on the school premises fell on her at Kongarakolan of Ibrahimpatnam in Ranga Reddy district on Friday.

The incident took place at the Saraswathi Vidyanikethan school. The school head mistress and the staff have strongly opposed the felling of the trees, but the workers went ahead and cut the trees. On seeing the student dead, the school principal fainted.
Another girl said to have suffered minor injuries in the incident.
