Khayyum Bhai Hero, Director ‘Kidnapped’ 

Hyderabad: Slain gangster Nayeem, who had created tension among politicos and police officials in Telangana, seems to be giving sleepless nights to Tollywood filmmakers even after his death.

Tollywood movie — 'Khayyum Bhai' based on the life history of gangster and renegade Nayeem was released on Friday. Katta Rambabu, donned the role of Nayeem in the movie and it was directed by Bharat Parepalli.

In a filmy style, Rambabu and Bharat Parepalli have claimed that they were kidnapped by some unidentified miscreants in Hyderabad. The kidnappers had taken them to unidentified location in a car to Anantapur district. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs 10 crore.

After sometime, the kidnappers had left them at an undisclosed place and escaped from the scene. Rambabu and Bharath called the media persons and narrated the tale about their kidnap. They are expected to reach Hyderabad by Sunday evening. However, they did not lodge any former complaint with the police following the incident.

Meanwhile, the netizens dubbed the claim as a prank played by filmmakers to grab public attention and thereby create curiosity about the movie.
