Khammam Man Dies In UK Road Accident
Hyderabad: A man from Khammam was killed in a road accident in the UK after he was knocked by a car in Swindon of South West England on Saturday evening.
Sridhar Munnaluri, a native of Bhuranpuram at Khammam completed his studies from Raichur. He was staying with his wife and two daughters aged eight years and five months at Brunel Crescent in Swindon. According to the police, Sridhar was mowed down by a taxi at Corporation Street on October 1.
He was immediately shifted to Southmead Trauma Centre, Bristol where he succumbed to severe injuries.
Pradeep Bharadwaj, chairman of the Swindon Hindu Temple broke the news on Tuesday. "It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of one of our community members, Sridhar Munnaluri, who suffered fatal injuries on Saturday night in an accident involving a taxi in the town center," Bharadwaj said.
