"KCR is an ideal farmer''

Hyderabad: TDP MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao took a dig at Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao when he sarcastically suggested that the latter was an ideal farmer who is "praiseworthy'' for the good job he has done.

Speaking on the first day of monsoon session of the Telangana Assembly, Erraballi questioned the CM about the reason behind his Israel trip if every piece of land was yielding crops worth RS. one Crore. “What was the reason behind Israel and China tours? Have you taken any farmer along if the reason behind these trips were to learn farming techniques from these nations?” he asked.

Errabelli also said that government should concentrate less on ‘farmhouse farmers’ and more on the ‘poor farmers’.

Subsidies should be given to poor farmers rather than the farmhouse farmers, he said.

“If a every crop is grown just like that in the CM’s farmhouse, the state will prosper” he added.
