Hyderabad: A parody has been released on Wednesday by the Hyderabad Schools Parents’ Association (HSPA) to draw Telangana Chief Minister's K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s attention to the steep school fees. The video is titled as SONU SONG on #SchoolFeeLoot - by Hyderabad Parents and so far garnered over 12,000 views.

The video shows parents and children singing which starts with, "KCR... tumku padai ki fikar ich nahi kya. School fee loot rokhthe ich nahi kya.’

Little later in the song, they sing," Kab KG To PG free karre.... Government school poore sadree. Papero mein news poora chapre…..Lekin tum kuchbhi nahi samajree."

One of the members of HSPA says that n number of times they took the matter to the government but it was played on a deaf ears. And only to drew their attention one more time they tried doing this parody. "A representation was given to deputy CM in 2014 to investigate over exorbitant school, fees. And it lead to unearth more loot going on, however, the case hasn't come up for hearing after the Chief Justice got transferred.”

It may be recalled that in January a complaint was filed against Delhi Public School, Nacharam, by a city-based activist over steep admission fee. The complainant said that the school was taking `donation' of about Rs50,000 from parents, of which Rs35,000 was collected ostensibly for infrastructure and a few other facilities.
