KCR to take up Clean Hussain Sagan campaign in a big way

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to take up the cleaning of Hussain Sagar Lake in a big way.

As per reports, Rao, who reviewed the cleaning project on Wednesday, said it should be taken up as a people's movement with the participation of ministers, other public representatives, students and all sections of the society, an official release said.

Water from the drainage system should not be allowed to enter the picturesque lake which is also a tourist attraction, he said.

A separate lake would be developed at nearby Indira Park for immersion of idols during the Ganesh Chathurthi and Dasara festivities.
