KCR promises uninterrupted power supply to industries

Sanga Reddy: Promising 24 hours of uninterrupted power supply to the industries in the State, the Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday made a clarion call to the industries to make Telangana on of world’s top industrial hub.

 
Speaking in a function at South Auto Limited Company in Kodakanchi village in Medak district, the Chief Minister said, “On this occasion, I call up on all the industrialists to come and invest in Telangana. In the past, there were issues such as power scarcity which continued even after formation of Telangana. Now the issue has been sorted out.”

 

The CM said that the present 4,320 mega watt of thermal electricity will be increased to 25000 mega watts in the next 4 years and added that work has started with an estimate of Rs. 91.5 crocre. 

 

The CM said that when he was the transport minister in 1997, he had designed RTC sleeper coaches for people travelling from Hyderabad to Shiridi.  The buses today are far better,  KCR said and added that soon South Auto Company will merge with Telanagana RTC.

 

Minister of Irrigation Harish Rao, MLA Jupally Krishna Rao, Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, MP BB Patil among others were present.
