KCR promises to make Adilabad another Kashmir

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao on Wednesday announced that Adilabad district will be named after Adivasi legendary Komaram Bheem.

Earlier in the day, KCR visited Jodeghat to pay tributes to the tribal leader on the occasion of his 74th death anniversary. Jodeghat is where the legendary tribal leader was martyred.

Addressing the large gathering, KCR assured that his government would develop the Adilabad like Kashmir. He announced Rs 10 lakhs ex-gratia to the Komaram Bheem's family on the occasion.

He further promised that the TRS government will provide jobs to Komaram Bheem's grand daughter and grand son. "One university will be built after the tribal leader's name. In 100 acres, tourism area will also be developed," KCR said.
