Hyderabad: Telangana chief minster and TRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao is reportedly going to conduct his campaign for GHMC elections through E-meetings as in the US.

E-meeting is a meeting that takes place over an electronic medium rather than in the traditional face-to-face fashion. The most common form of an E-meeting is done through web-based software which allows individuals and groups from around the globe to facilitate meetings without physically traveling to the predetermined destination or to an agreed upon location.

Generally political leaders do door-to-door canvassing. But Telangana CM is reportedly willing to reach every household in the GHMC limits with his hi-tech canvassing through E-meetings in 10 to 12 places. By adopting these new campaign tehnique, TRS chief wants his party's manifesto and agenda reach each and every household in the city.

In this new method of campaign, KCR's speech is telecast live on the installed big screens at ten to twelve predetermined places simultaneously in the city. He can also interact with the voters and reply to their queries live. The live telecasting of KCR speech also will be available on TV sets too.

TRS is also thinking of conducting at least five to six of these E-meetings every day to boost up their campaign in order to avoid the traffic woes to civic people in Hyderabad city.
