‘KCR-Owned Newspaper is Publishing Lies About Me’

Nalgonda: "Lies and rumours with an aim to tarnish my image are being published in a newspaper owned by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao," former minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said.

Addressing the media here on Friday, he claimed that he did not have any links to the slain gangster Nayeem nor did he conduct any business with him. The chief minister is being misled by minister Jagadish Reddy, he alleged. Venkat Reddy also mentioned that he is open to investigation by any agency if the government suspects his involvement in Nayeem's business. Reiterating his commitment to social causes and upliftment of the poor, he  said the TRS government is bent upon maligning his image. "I do not have any need to indulge in illegal activities for my survival," he said.
