KCR is chief of cowards, says Raghunandan

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) faced a serious jolt on Wednesday as one of the party’s young leaders Raghunandana Rao, who was suspended from the party made a scathing attack on KCR terming him as chief of cowards.

If anybody formed an association of cowards, KCR would be a right choice to head the organization, Raghunandana Rao said at a press conference in Hyderabad. The young lawyer said KCR had never called him to discuss over injustice done to him. Charging him with nepotism, Raghunandan alleged that KCR was more interested in providing party posts to his kith and kin, but not serious about Telangana movement. Revealing a hidden fact, he said the leaders who had quit the party did not make allegations against KCR, because of fear that they may be branded  as a traitor of Telangana.

‘Show proofs of allegations’

Raghunandana Rao, who also belonged to the social class of KCR, demanded that KCR should prove charges levelled against him within 48 hours. Otherwise, he would go to TRS Bhavan to fight. He clarified he had never made comments against Telangana movement. KCR had presented a gift of suspension to him after serving the party for 13 years. Refuting charges that he had taken funds from a company as alleged by TRS leadership, Raghunandan said he had evidences of leaders who had collected funds in the name of Telangana movement. Saying that he has copies of cheques collected by the TRS leaders, he said he had enough evidence where suitcases changed hands at Delhi’s Ashoka Hotel.

‘Harish hatches plot against KCR ‘

Raghunandana Rao said Harish Rao had consulted with all the district party presidents to dethrone KCR from the party post. How TRS would welcome leaders who had foisted cases against the party activists, he questioned and revealed that all the important decisions would be taken in TRS only after 10 pm.

TRS rebukes Raghunandan’s charges

Reacting on the Raghunandan’s allegations, TRS Medak district in-charge Rajaiah termed Raghunandan as  a power-monger. The party had provided all the important positions in the party to him, but he confined himself for TV debates. Whenever he was invited to participate in the Telangana movement, he rejected to attend, said Rajaiah.
