KCR has no car?

Declaration of assets before elections can  throw up some interesting facts about our politicians.

On Wednesday, a similar interesting fact came up when TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao declared his assets in an affidavit to Election Commission. 

According to his documents, the man who heads TRS, whose party symbol is car, does not own a car himself. Neither does his wife own one.

As per reports, KCR and his wife are owners of assets, in form of immovable properties, jewelry and cash, worth Rs 15.15 crore. 

His wife has Rs 21 lakhs, while KCR has approximately Rs 6.29 crores as cash and deposits. He also has stakes worth Rs 55 lakhs in Telangana Broadcasting Pvt Ltd, and shares worth Rs 4.16 crore in Telangana Publications Pvt Ltd, which runs Telugu daily  “Namasthe Telagana”. The politician who was at the forefront of the Telangana struggle, has agricultural land worth Rs 4.50 crore in  Yerravally village, Medak district.  

KCR is also the owner of houses in the upmarket Bajara Hills and Thigalaguttapally, which costs Rs 3.65 crores.
