Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday directed officials to take steps for protection of the deer park at Vanasthalipuram in the city.
Rao, who held a review meeting on the deer park and the botanical garden in the city, told officials to construct a boundary wall and 'inspection path' to see that the deer park land is not encroached upon, a relase from his office said. He suggested that a committee comprising those living near the deer park be appointed for its protection.
TRS MP from Bhongir B Narasiah Goud has agreed to give Rs 50 lakh from his funds for the cause of the park. Rao also suggested that the botanical garden be developed further and a 'walk-way' constructed. TRS MP from Chevella Konda Visveswara Reddy has agreed provide Rs 50 lakh for the garden, the release added.
