Sangareddy: At a time when MPs of Andhra Pradesh are fighting for the assurances that were made in AP Reorganisation Act, Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is busy defending the centre's GST roll out and note ban, said TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy.

Praja Chaitanya Bus Yatra which was organised by the TPCC in Telangana, has reached Sangareddy district. Public meetings were organised in Zaheerabad and Narayankhed by the Telangana Congress highlighting the misrule of the TRS government.

Speaking on the occasion, Uttam Kumar Reddy said that minorities in the country were facing severe problems in the BJP-led NDA government. "Harassment on minorities have increased manifold. The Telangana CM too has bowed down to the Modi government. KCR has become meek and was afaird to Prime Minister Narendra Modi," he alleged.

KCR and his family members are enjoying a luxurious life in the newly-constructed CM Camp Office-Cum-Residence by spending huge amount of Rs 500 crore, he pointed. Uttam said that the Telangana CM has betrayed all sections of people in the last four years. And only people would teach him a stern lesson in 2019 elections, the TPCC president said.

Congress MLA Komatireddi Venkat Reddy pointed out that if his party leadership asked him to fight the next elections against KCR, he was ready for the challenge and told that he would win. He reminded the words of AP CM that if KCR was made the minister then he wouldn't have raised the issue of separate Telangana.

Former union minister Sarvey Sathyanaraya said that though there was little confusion about the CM candidature in his party, they would fight and make Uttam Kumar Reddy as Congress party's CM candidate for next elections.
